Mā te Haumaru o te Wai: Flood Resilience Aotearoa – a wrap of the 5-year Endeavour Funded Programme
A consortium led by Earth Sciences NZ (formerly NIWA) have recently finished this 5-year Endeavour-funded research programme (niwa.co.nz/flood-resilience). You may have seen the flood hazard and risk viewer (if not, check it out at https://niwa.maps.arcgis.com/apps/dashboards/8c1db2b8e37841f29a57a38675388897). Come along to this webinar to hear the science and research behind both these results and also the other research areas (Social Vulnerability, Governance, Uncertainty and Mātauranga Māori) under the programme and how they can be used to help make Aotearoa more resilient to flooding under current and future climates.
