More information

Menopause affects an estimated 89% of women aged 40–60. If you are not experiencing it yourself, you will almost certainly know someone who is — a mother, sister, partner, friend, colleague or team member.

Join Tech Women for their next event as they discuss the oestrogen evolution and the impact it has on women in the workplace.

This event is not solely aimed at women. They warmly encourage men and allies to attend to learn how to better understand, navigate and support this important transition together.

Join the Tech Alliance for a frank, informative and empowering discussion with renowned menopause expert Niki Bezzant, Auckland Exercise Physiologist Kyra Seiler, and CyberCX Account Manager and advocate Tatum Greeff.

Together, they will take time with you to rage, rise and radiate — providing an unfiltered conversation about menopause, what it means for work and life, and how we can better manage and support it moving forward.

In this session, you will explore:
How to recognise perimenopause and menopause
Common symptoms and their impact on work, relationships and wellbeing
What is happening in the brain and body during peri/menopause
Menopause myths and what the latest science says
The role of strength training in supporting long-term health
How workplaces, leaders, colleagues and allies can provide better support
Practical ways to talk more openly and confidently about menopause

There will also be an opportunity for Q&A — because when it comes to menopause, there is no such thing as a silly question.

Speakers:
Nikki Bezzant (Writer, journalist, author and menopause educator)
Kyra Seiler (Founder, Salus Strength)
Tatum Greeff (Account Manager, CyberCX)
