Starting a literature review means solving two problems at once: finding the right papers, and keeping track of them once you’ve collected them. This session walks through a workflow that covers both—ResearchRabbit to find papers and see how they connect, Paperpile to organize what you find and cite it as you write.
You’ll go end to end, from finding your first paper to writing your first draft. You’ll leave with a workflow you can use for your own review.
Part 1: Find papers with ResearchRabbit
Start from a keyword, or one paper you already know
Follow citation connections to related work
Narrow down to the papers worth reading
Part 2: Organize and cite with Paperpile
Bring the papers you found into Paperpile
Sort them into folders and label them
Read, annotate, and take notes on your PDFs
Add citations in Google Docs and Word
Who it’s for?
Graduate students, researchers, science communicators, and anyone who writes from the academic literature.
