Join AI for Good Aotearoa New Zealand for a monthly AI for Good Lunch & Learn series, with each session featuring a different speaker, startup, or organisation working at the intersection of AI, sustainability and social impact.
Each virtual session (BYO lunch) they’ll spotlight a fresh perspective, practical use case, or emerging idea, giving participants the chance to learn directly from people building and applying AI for good. The series is designed to inspire discussion, surface new opportunities, and deepen understanding of how AI can be used responsibly to support better outcomes for people and communities.
This month (October 2026) they’ll be featuring… educator, writer and philosopher Simon Hertnon of Nakedize who will introduce the Universal AI Declaration (UAID), which he’s co-created with AI4G co-host Juhi Shareef of Mission: Mārama. The annual Declaration aims to address the ‘trust gap’ that exists for citizens around AI, by asking organisations why and how they are using AI, and what commitments and guardrails they have to provide us all with confidence they are using AI responsibly.
The Declaration is at design stage and this is an opportunity to workshop the content, have your say and get involved. Participants will receive a draft of the Declaration before the ZOOM session.
