Forest and Bird Wellington Branch meeting

Come and hear from … Anthea McClelland (past Chair of Forest & Bird Manawatū branch) who will guide you through 100 years of Forest & Bird – how it started and how it grew over the years, with a few anecdotes popped in along the way.

Anthea joined Forest & Bird Manawatū in early 2002 and in 2007 was voted onto the Branch Committee as Secretary and then in 2014 as Chair. She stepped down as Chair in 2024 and now serves on the Branch Committee – that’s over 24 years involvement with the Society!

The Wellington Branch Chair, Kate Littin will also give a brief on what’s happening presently and what’s coming, and delve into the important role that Wellington and Wellingtonians played in Forest & Bird’s first steps and how you can carry the legacy forward. They look forward to seeing you there!
