Join Wellington City Council for the second installment of Climate Kōrero!

After their first sold out event, Wellington City Council are delighted to be hosting another evening dedicated to highlighting the incredible work of individuals and organisations working in the climate action space.

They will be joined by four passionate speakers who will share their stories and insights, providing inspiration and practical ways for you to get involved in making a difference.

The event will follow the Pecha Kucha style, where each presenter will showcase 20 slides that automatically transition every 20 seconds. This fun visual format is a great way to share stories and also keeps everyone on their toes! After each presentation, there will be time for the audience to kōrero with each speaker, so come along with some questions.

Why should you come along?
– Get inspired: Hear from leaders and changemakers in the climate action community.
– Free Kai: Enjoy delicious, free kai while you listen and kōrero with us!
– Meet some mates: Connect with like-minded individuals and build a network of climate champions.
– Find out about other activities: learn more about how you can get involved, including getting a project funded through the Climate and Sustainability Fund.

There are four amazing speakers coming to share their stories with the group, including:
Jack Rainey – Everybody Eats
Moko Morris – Kai Sovereignty
Ryan O’Connell – Switched on Bikes
Georgie Marriott – Climate Clinic

Arrive at the venue between 5:00-5:30pm to enjoy some free kai and read some information about climate action in Poneke. They will kick off at 5:30 with an introduction to the evening, then hear from two of their wonderful speakers, have an intermission for more kai, then finish up with the last two speakers.

Come and kōrero!
