DESCRIPTION:This walk is to continue learning about NZ native forest trees\
 , plants and ferns. This time meeting at 10.30am at the intersection of Ko
 whai and Karaka Streets in Eastbourne.\n\nThe well-maintained Kowhai Stree
 t Track climbs to reveal wonderful views over Te Whanganui-a-Tara before d
 escending to Butterfly Creek where there are picnic tables and a toilet. I
 t’s roughly an hour each way as a walk\, with botanising time additional
  to that. They’ll go as far as the group wishes.  \n\nAn 83 bus leaves C
 ourtenay Place at 8.50am and goes via Petone and Lower Hutt to Stop 9855 M
 uritai Road at Kowhai Street arriving 10.00am.  \n\nA map view of 200 spec

 rn around when you wish. Bring water and snacks\; and lunch if you plan to
