13:00 - 15:00
You are invited to join us for a 2-hour online event exploring the findings from Hua Tahi – Flourishing Together: Including disabled people’s voices in housing policy and practice in Aotearoa New Zealand.
This free event provides a unique opportunity to hear directly from disabled people who contributed to the research, alongside the rest of the research team, as they share their experiences with the housing system and discuss the collaborative process of generating knowledge together.
They will unpack key insights and housing recommendations developed throughout the project—insights that advocate for more inclusive, accessible, and responsive housing policy and practice. This is a unique opportunity for disabled people, advocacy groups, housing providers, and policy planners to come together, listen, and connect around the shared goal of empowering disabled people to exercise greater control over where and how they create a home that best suits them and their whānau families.
Let’s keep the conversation going to ensure housing policy and practice in Aotearoa reflects the aspirations, rights, and lived experiences of all.
Registration required. A Zoom link will be sent with the registration confirmation email.
