Join Nate Rigler, Project Lead of Kia Mouriora te Kaiwharawhara Sanctuary to Sea, for an insightful update on restoration initiatives in the Kaiwharawhara valley, encompassing Zealandia and Ōtari-Wilton’s Bush. Focusing on water-based endeavours, the session concludes with a brief stroll down to the stream, offering a hands-on perspective of the ongoing conservation efforts in this space.

Meet at Tāne Whakapiripiri, Ōtari Visitor Centre. It is easy walking and family groups are welcome.

This is part of the Ōtari-Wilton’s Bush Trust’s annual autumn guided walks programme.

Join the Trust for only $20 for an individual or $30 for a double/family for a year and all the walks will be free, as well as other great benefits.
