He toa, he pou arahi mō te taiao – Poipoia founder, Tina Porou walks her talk about living sustainably. She is inspiring and mobilising diverse groups from rangatahi Māori to corporate boardrooms to do the same.

Join Kanapu to hear of her career journey and her motivation and vision for a more sustainable Aotearoa.

Kanapu launched Uematarau in 2023 to support grassroots Māori collectives developing their mātauranga Māori-based kaupapa in pūtaiao (science), rangahau (research) or auaha (innovation). Tūhono Rau Tangata – Mātanga talks is one of the Uematarau initiatives. These talks will highlight the leadership journeys of mātanga (specialists) in pūtaiao, rangahau and auaha-related mahi, on national fronts and at home.

Nau mai, mātakitaki mai. Be inspired!
